What is Coaching?

Professional coaching focuses on setting goals, creating outcomes and managing personal change. Other service professions, like consulting and psychotherapy, are based on the wisdom and expertise of the professional. In coaching you—the client—are the expert.

Your coach’s role is to ask powerful questions, act as a sounding board, provide objective assessment and observations, listen fully and actively, challenge your blind spots, and foster shifts in thinking that reveal fresh perspectives.

Coaches partner with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential. Coaches honor the client as the expert in his/ her/their life and work, and believe every client is creative, resourceful and whole (International Coaching Federation).

Coaching Approach

My coaching methodology is based on a client-centered, strengths-based approach, combined with evidence-based coaching techniques. I believe in fostering a positive and supportive environment that allows individuals to explore their potential and overcome challenges effectively.

  • Career development

  • Setting priorities and managing time effectively

  • Stress management and building resilience

  • Developing effective conflict resolution strategies

  • Building self-confidence and overcoming imposter syndrome

Top Objectives for Coaching Sessions

  • 1

Holding the client accountable for commitment to action.

  • 2

Building the client’s awareness to make better, conscious choices leading towards achieving their goals.

  • 3

Coachees develop their own critical thinking capacity, enabling them to solve problems for themselves and not be dependent on their boss for answers, resulting in faster resolution and greater accountability.

  • 4

Coachees are more motivated to execute on ideas that they have generated for themselves.

  • 5

Coachees feel seen and heard, allowing for deeper, more authentic conversations about what’s really going on.

  • 6

Coaching sessions should lead to more empowerment, engagement, collaboration and improved performance across the organization.
